Stories from the ground

Each partnership reflects a different corner of need—children, animals, kitchens, and shelter. Together they show what becomes possible when events are used as a lever for good.

    Reach for a Dream

    Anzio’s story

Omega Pride Events had the honour of supporting Anzio, a 13-year-old boy who spent much of his life in and out of the Red Cross Children’s Hospital. Despite his challenges, his dream was simple — to own a cellphone.

Through a live event fundraiser, we raised enough funds to purchase him a Samsung A21. Sadly, Anzio passed away later in 2022, but his joy became a reminder of how small acts of kindness create lasting impact.

    Majestic Beast Rescue

In December 2024, we supported Majestic Beast Rescue in Klapmuts. The sanctuary has rescued and rehabilitated over 186 dogs across South Africa since 2019.

The fundraiser helped sustain food, training, and care for abandoned and abused dogs, ensuring they receive a second chance at life through dedicated rehabilitation programs.

    2HO (To Help Others)

    Omega Pride Community

2HO began in 2019 as a local initiative and has grown into a global community of over 1,300 members. Focused on Cape Town communities like Richwood and Bothasig, the initiative supports feeding schemes and outreach programs.

Omega Pride Events helped facilitate fundraising that provided essential groceries to community kitchens, strengthening the local support net.

    The Haven Night Shelter

In 2020, Omega Pride Events partnered with Ms. Shield Jacobs to raise funds for the Haven Night Shelter, a Cape Town institution supporting the homeless since 1978.

Over R4,000 was raised to restock essential food supplies. The Haven continues to provide shelter, rehabilitation, and dignity restoration for those in need across the city.

How Omega Pride shows up

  • Live fundraising

Programs, galas, and ticketed moments where the room does the heavy lifting—transparent tallies and dignified storytelling.

  • Trusted partners

We work with established organisations and grassroots leaders who already know their communities—our job is to amplify, not reinvent.

  • Sponsor Heroes

Underwriting and volunteer pathways for brands and individuals who want recurring impact—not a one-off photo opportunity.
